Adrian Brown McCowan age 73 of Elkmont, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018 at his residence. Mr. McCowan was born November 25, 1944 in Giles County, TN to Douglas McCowan and Katherine Stevenson McCowan.
Services will be Wednesday, June 20, 2018 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Ryan Knight officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday, from 12:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery.
Adrian attended Locks Crossroads Church of Christ and was a member of Elkmont Lions Club. He was retired from PPG Industries where he worked for 38 years as a toolmaker. He had many gifts. He was a mechanic and plumber. He enjoyed gardening and woodworking. His greatest gift was his unconditional love for his family and friends.
Preceded in death by his parents.
Survived by his wife, Hazel McCowan; daughter, Adrianna Christian and husband, Micky; grandchild Lilly Christian; brother, Ted McCowan; sister, Freda Oakley and husband, Ricky; several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Wayne Blackwell, Marcus Hobbs, Micky Christian, Jeff Anderson, Adam McCowan and Bill Currin. Honorary pallbearers will be PPG Tool Makers.
