Kenneth Ray Boatwright, age 75, of Muscle Shoals, died Saturday, May 26, 2018. His visitation will be Monday, May 28, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Bill Newman officiating. Interment will be in Old Bethel Cemetery.
Mr. Boatwright was born February 20, 1943, to the late James Albert and Ouida Moland Boatwright. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served in the Vietnam War. Mr. Boatwright was retired from Reynold’s Metals Company, and was a member of Grace Life Church of the Shoals.
Kenneth was passionate about gospel music and traveling in motor homes. He enjoyed hot rods, walking horses, and camping. One of his greatest joys was his grandchildren, especially watching them play ball.
Survivors include his wife, Kathy Boatwright; children, Mark Boatwright (Anna), Scott Boatwright (Charlene), Stephen Tidwell, and Sabrina Eddins (Andy); siblings, Hillard Boatwright (Rachel), Ricky Boatwright (Lana), and Linda Bagwell (Bobby); eight grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Andy Eddins, Andrew Eddins, Michael Boatwright, Jacob Johnson, Dexter Boatwright, and Darryl Boatwright. Members of Kenneth’s Sunday School Class will serve as honorary pallbearers.
