Katrina Kay Nichols, 66, of Sheffield, died Friday, May 25, 2018. Her visitation will be Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. Her funeral service will immediately follow at 12:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Steven Pochop officiating. Burial will follow in Sheffield Oakwood Cemetery.
Kay was preceded in death by her father, Charles William Nichols; paternal grandfather, Marvin Nichols; paternal grandmother, Edith Nichols; maternal grandfather, Grady Shirley; maternal grandmother, Lucille Shirley; and nephew, Cody Nichols.
She is survived by her mom, Peggy Shirley Johnson; step-dad, Billy Ray Johnson; brother, Charles Randy “Buddy” Nichols; sisters, Susie Isbell (Ricky) and Pam Nichols; adopted sister, Kay Kelley; step-sister, Billie Ruth Trousdale (Robbie); nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Chuck Pierce, Tyler Hines, Billy Smallwood, Jeremy Reed, Michael Hall, Danny Watkins, and Ricky Isbell.
Honorary pallbearers will be David Montgomery, Ron Briley, Marshall Borden, Donnie Alexander, and Steve Butler.
