William Gary Clark, 72, of Huntsville, passed away surrounded by family and loved ones at Crestwood Hospital on Tuesday, February 20, 2018. Mr. Clark graduated from Huntsville High School and the University of North Alabama. He retired from Patriot Missile Defense on Redstone Arsenal in December 2011 after 35 years of service.
He is survived by his daughter, Kristi Clark; granddaughter, Trinity Amelia Honey; his mother, Lila M. Clark; and sisters, Diane George and Deborah Clark, all of Huntsville; brother-in-law, Jerry Rogers of Georgia; and sister-in-law, Martha Abrams of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Katherine A. Rogers, of Macon, GA and his father, William W. Clark of Huntsville, AL.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 17, at First United Methodist Church, Huntsville, at 1:30 pm with visitation from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. Reverend Coy Hallmark will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a favorite charity.
