Louis Fabian, 95 of Curry, AL passed away January 30th, 2018.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Ann; and sons, John and Stevie. Left to cherish his memory is his son, Bob Fabian; grandson, Chris Fabian (Dorothy); daughter-in-law, Lynne Fabian; and two great-grandchildren.

Louis was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He served in the Army as a warrant officer during WWII , much of that time stationed on a ship in the Pacific. When he came home from the war, Louis used the GI Bill to become the first member of his family to go to college, earning a mechanical engineering degree from the University of Cincinnati. In 1961, he moved his young family from Pensacola FL to Huntsville, AL, and began a long and fulfilling career working for NASA as an Aerospace engineer. The last 30 years of his long life were spent living on Smith Lake, a place he and his wife loved.  Louis loved baseball, cigars, 12 year old scotch with a dollop of club soda, restoring Jaguar sports cars, but most of all, he loved his wife; no one ever heard them so much as raise their voice at each other. He was a fine man, an old school gentleman, and will be greatly missed by his family.

There will be a graveside service at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 5th, at Maple Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers please consider doing an unsolicited act of kindness for someone less fortunate than yourself.
