Ian McClean Love arrived at the Millington, Tennessee hospital on a busy, hectic night. The delivery doctor that night went to look out the window to check if there was a full moon. Once here, Ian was a cuddly, joyful busy baby and child, always laughing, rarely disagreeable. In school, he sometimes struggled though very bright. Despite these learning obstacles, he determined he would graduate with the Advanced diploma and he succeeded, graduating from Bob Jones High School in 2006. He went off to college with high hopes and big dreams only to be tackled by unrelenting depression. He endured many ups and downs trying many different methods to conquer this unwelcome copilot. Sadly, January 31st, 2018, he lost this war with what had ruled his world for his last years. Despite this constant struggle, he dependably carried out his duties as a Kroger employee. He was also an active member of the Madison Church of Christ.
Ian is survived by his parents, Lewis and Nancy Graham and William and Becky Love; his sisters, Ashley Love, Amy Fruchtnicht and Jennifer Graham; brother, Grady Love; grandparents, James and Dorothy Evett and Elizabeth Graham.
Visitation will be Monday, February 5th, at Laughlin Service Funeral Home from 10 AM to 12 PM followed by a service. There will be a private graveside service.
The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in remembrance of Ian to Crisis Services of North Alabama (www.csna.org).
