Funeral services for Mr. James “Jimmy” Sanderson Sr. age, 70 are scheduled for 2PM on Tuesday January 16, 2018 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the McBride Cemetery. Mr. Jimmy passed away on Saturday January 13, 2018. He was born March 16, 1947 in Lexington, TN to the late James Freeman Sanderson and Mary Louise Dyer Sanderson. He was retired from Leroy Somer, a mechanic, and farmer who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. He enjoyed antique cars and tractors, and devoted his life to taking care of his wife. Mr. Jimmy was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Shirley Hickerson Sanderson, a brother, Randy Sanderson, and two grandchildren, Brittney and Angel Sanderson. Survivors include his sons, Grady Sanderson (Shelley), Chris Sanderson (Angie) and Kevin Sanderson, daughter, Melanie Sanderson, brother, Danny Sanderson, and sister, Deborah (Phillip) Autry, and 7 grandchildren; Kelley, Kinley, Lee and Ben Sanderson, Matthew and Brett Wilson, and Skylar Sisk.
