Myrtle Faye Kirkland, age 79, of Carbon Hill, passed away on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at her residence.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Ashbank Cemetery.
Mrs. Kirkland was preceded in death by her Parents-Euel and Helen Butler; Husband-Joe W. Kirkland; Brother-Edmond Butler; Sisters-Eulene Keeton and Loretta Hill.
She is survived by her Sons-Michael Joe Kirkland, Tim Kirkland (Brenda) and Scott Kirkland (Georgette); Sister-Bert Yates; Brother-Cecil Butler; Grandchildren-Krystle Fisher (Eric), Amber Kirkland (Kelsey), Rachel Holloway (Tilmon), Lauren Kirkland, Leslie Burrough (McClain) and Garrett Kirkland (Jessica); Great Grandchildren-Hayden, Audrey, Kensley, Jaxson, Anderson and Cameron; Special Friend-Katherine Kirk.
