James Homer Terrell Jr., age 86, passed away at home surrounded by family on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018. Visitation will be today from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will be Sunday, Jan. 7, at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Murphy’s Chapel Cemetery with Brother Charles Linam officiating. Pallbearers are Dennis Oakley, Elzo Smith, Raymond Guyton, Logan Rinehard, David Richey, and Tonis Woods. Honorary pallbearers are Tommy Hanback, Billy Hill, Randy Creasy, Mason Barnes, and Mitchell Gandy.
Jr. was a member of Murphy’s Chapel and was retired with Custom Tool and Die.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva Lee Terrell.
Survivors are his sons, James Terrell, (Katrina) and Tim Terrell; brothers, Buddy Terrell, Frank Terrell, and Ralph May; grandchildren, Kim Woods (Tonis), Lakesha Richey (David), Heath Terrell (Jeannie), and Leigh, Elisabeth and Todd Reed; great-grandchildren, Sierra and Logan Rinehard, Mason Barnes, Mitchell Gandy and Alexis, Will and Thomas Terrell; and his beloved pet, Sandy; and many close family and friends.
