David Bee, 83, passed away Friday, December 29, 2017. Visitation will be Monday, January 1, 2018 from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Spry~Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will be Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Lee Heights Baptist Church, with Brother Eric Taylor officiating. He will lie-in-state at the church from noon until 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers are Nick Winn, Milton Kirby, Lance Hartzog, Brian Wright, Butch Garner, and Jason Brewer. Honorary pallbearers are Salt and Pepper Sunday School Class.
He was a member of Lee Heights Baptist Church where he was a deacon and was retired with Sunbean Bread Company. David was a U.S Army veteran having served in the Korean War and was a member of the American Legion and Korean War Veteran Association.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Irene Bee; brother, Charles Bee, Jr.; and sisters, Ruth Dean and Peggy Chandler.
Survivors are his wife, Redith Bee; son, Ricky Bee (Beth); daughter, Debra Ybarbo (Ricky); sister, Martha Bee; grandchildren, James Michael, Ashley, and Jennifer; and great-grandchildren, Walker, Kendyl, and Aiden.
