Janet Nunnally Towery, 66, of Huntsville, passed away Tuesday, December 19th after a short battle with cancer. She was born in Jacksonville, FL and raised in Huntsville, AL. Janet attended Judson College in Marion, AL. She later pursued master’s degrees from UAB and UAH. Janet committed her professional life to helping children and their families, and she dedicated her personal life to her family and many friends.
She is survived by her mother, Eva Mae Nunnally; husband, Bill; sons, Nance and McClain (Jacqueline); grandchildren, William, Suttle, and Bennett Towery; and brother, Jack Nunnally (Jan).
The visitation will be on Saturday, December 23rd from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Weatherly Heights Baptist Church with a memorial service to follow at 2:00 p.m.
