She was united in marriage to Eddie Horton on October 16, 1981.
Mrs. Horton worked for over 20 years for United Insurance. She was all about family and help raise her grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting.
Mrs. Horton departed this life on December 2, 2017 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 68 Years, 8 Months, 24 Days. her husband Eddie Horton of Selmer, TN; two daughters, Melanie Mathis of Selmer, TN, Kristina Horton of Selmer, TN; a son, Dewey Mathis of Quantico, VA; a brother, Orvil Wilson of Selmer, TN; 8 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren; and a host of friends.
