Mr. George W. “Jay” Bailey, age 81, of Haleyville, Alabama passed away November 26, 2017.
He was a Baptist and was self employed in the salvage business. He loved to fish and hunt in his spare time.
Visitation is Tuesday, November 28, 2017 from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. at Pinkard Funeral Home, Haleyville. Funeral services is Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Hugh Cavender officiating. Burial in Winston Memorial Cemetery.
He is survived by his daughter, Susan (Billy)Walker, April(Bobby)Tackitt, Katie(Noah)Moody; brother, Marvin Bailey; sisters, Sara McNutt, Sue Hopson, Faye Prince, Linda Reed, Dean Silas, Marie Suede and Hattie (Freddy) Swabe; grandchildren, Billy Walker(Kellie), Ashley Hill(Blake), Alisha Hess, Brandy Millstead; great grandchildren, Wyatt Walker, Greyson Hill, Adalynn Hill; a host of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Thompson and Liza Jane Pinkard Bailey.
