Lori was a Huntsville, Alabama native who put herself through school (University of Alabama – Huntsville (UAH) by waitressing. More recently, Lori worked for Harlan Lee & Associates, LLC as a Department of Defense Contractor supporting the Missile Defense Agency Global Deployment Directorate as an Executive Assistant and Communications Analyst.

We were privileged to know Lori and will miss her radiant smiles and kind words. Lori was a good friend to many and was willing to listen if you were willing to share. She provided sage advice and made sure to let you know not to hesitate to ask if she could do more.

We will remember Lori as talented, spiffy, and classy. She was also a special friend, teammate, and colleague who truly loved her MDA family and valued their friendship, love, and support as many battled alongside her these past 16 months.

Ever the trendsetter and at Lori’s request before her passing, she requested her family and friends please send flowers and wear bright colors to her memorial, in lieu of the more traditional black or dark colors, to symbolize the beauty and warmth of life.
