Frances Loyde Abernathy of Frankewing passed away on Friday, October 27, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Pulaski on August 9, 1936 and was 81 years old.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, retired from Fafnir and loved flowers and doing adult coloring books.
Visitation will be on Sunday, October 29th from 12:00 until 3:00 at Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will be on Sunday, October 29th at 3:00 in the Chapel of Bennett-May-Giles County Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. “Bob” Abernathy, parents, Virgil and Willa Mae Follis Birdsong, brother, Dolphus Lee Birdsong.
She is survived by her,
Daughter, Donna Abernathy Griggs of Pulaski
Son, Darrell (Darlene) Abernathy of Pulaski
Daughter, Carla (Lane) Maxwell of Pulaski
8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren also survive
