Mr. Major Lindley Snow, 92, of Huntsville, passed away October 21, 2017 at Brookshire Nursing Home in Huntsville, AL after an extended illness. He was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church of Florence, and of the Gideons.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 2 p.m. at Cash Creek Baptist Church in Henderson, KY. Officiating will be Dr. George Stiles. Burial will follow in Cash Creek Cemetery.
Mr. Snow was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Coleclough Snow; parents, William L. and Amelia Lindley Snow; brother, Richard Snow; and sisters, Gayle Coley, and Bettye Richards.
He is survived by his son, William L. Snow, Sr. (Karen); daughters, Jane Ann Sharka (Allan), and Nancy Elizabeth Cantley (Glenn); grandchildren, William L. Snow, Jr. (Crystal), Stephen R. Cantley (Rachel McKinley), Robert C. Snow, and Brian T. Cantley.
