Mala Sue Herron, 77, passed away Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017. Visitation will be Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017, from noon-2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with service to follow in the chapel. Pastor Chad Beck will be officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens. She was a member First Baptist of Littleville.
Mrs. Herron was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Myrtle Stevens; husband, Carroll Lloyd “Wormy” Herron; son, Randy Herron; and brother, James Stevens.
She is survived by her sons, Bret and Kelly Herron (Tuscumbia) and Steve and Nicole Herron (Mountain Home, Arkansas); grandchildren, Natasha and Brian Shackelford (Russellville) and Derrick and Crystal Herron (Phil Campbell); and great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Trent and Caden Shackelford and Landen and Payten McClelland.
Pallbearers will be Brian “Spanky” Shackelford, Derrick Herron, Trent Shackelford, and Gary Autry. Honorary pallbearers are Caden Shackelford and Landen McClelland.
