Richard Ferrell Orrick, 66, died Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Grace Healthcare, Cordova, Tn. He was born in Red Bay, Al. and was retired as a school teacher after twenty-five years. He was a member of Itawamba County Baptist Association and a member and deacon of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
Services will be Sunday, October 8, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, Al. with Bro. Jimmy Dale Sartin officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Fairview, Ms. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Al. will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are his wife – Nancy Orrick, Bartlett, Tn.; two children – Beverly Harless (Michael) Bartlett, Tn. and Angela Dawn Orrick, Golden, Ms.; two grandchildren – Evan and Kasey Harless; one brother – Steve Orrick, Fulton, Ms. and 3- aunts – Virginia Mattox, Bartlett, Tn., Carolyn Stanford, Tupelo, Ms., Cleo Weaver, Cherokee, Al.
Pallbearers will be Michael Harless, Kasey Harless, Evan Harless and Jason Gasaway.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 7, 6-8 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Al.
Absent from the body and at home with the Lord.
