Jimmy Wayne Emerson, 72, died Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at his residence. He was born in Alabama and worked with a catering company for airlines for more than twenty years.
Services will be Saturday, October 7, 4 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, Al. with Bro. Clint Holcombe and Bro. Brian Bridges officiating. Burial will be in Shottsville Cemetery, Vina, Al. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Al. will be in charge of arrangements.
Survivors are three children – Brian Montgomery, Hamilton, Al., Rachel Emerson, Alpena, Mi. and Erik Emerson (April) Taylor, Mi.; one step-daughter – Sara Bruckner, Taylor, Mi.; two brothers – V.H. Emerson (Kathy) Vina, Al. and Doug Emerson, Red Bay, Al. and one sister – Barbara Emerson, Birmingham, Al.
Pallbearers will be Erik Emerson, Dwayne Emerson, Mark Emerson, Brian Montgomery, Luke Harris and Joseph Emerson.
Visitation will be Saturday, October 7, 2-4 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, Al.
