Oneice Hamm Townsend, 87, died Sunday, October 8, 2017, at Generations of Red Bay. She was born in Franklin County, AL to Finnis and Linnie Rollins Hamm. She attended New Temple Church of God.
Services will be Tuesday, October 10, 2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. David Webb officiating. Burial will be in Halltown Cemetery. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews whom she loved and helped to raise and her caregiver-Joyce Fancher.
She was preceded in death by her husband-James Ellis Townsend; her parents; two brothers and three sisters.
Pallbearers will be Doyle Townsend, Austin Townsend, Jerry Fancher, Jordan Reynolds, Britt Townsend and Arthur Parham.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 10, 12-2 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
