Memorial service for Robert Wayne Hicks, 74, will be Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Hartselle Church of Christ with Bro. Phillip Hines officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Peck Funeral Home assisted the family.
Mr. Hicks died on Monday, September 25, 2017 at his residence. He was born September 9, 1943, in Morgan County to Robert Webster Hicks and Ida Bell Kimbril Hicks. Mr. Hicks was a member and Deacon at the Hartselle Church of Christ and worked in Administration at the Decatur Housing Authority prior to his retirement. He was a Director for the Alabama Cattleman’s Association and a Board Member for the Alabama Farmer’s Co-op. He loved farming and enjoyed playing golf.
