Liza Earline Ivey, age 84, passed away Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017. Visitation will be Sunday, Sept. 3, from 12noon until 3:30 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 3:30 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Dennis Ivey officiating. Burial will be at North Carolina Cemetery. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Randy, Andy, and Michael.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Louis and Laura Clemmons; two brothers; and one sister; husband, Franklin Ivey Sr.; son, Jerry Ivey; daughter and son-in-law, Wanda and Tom Wallace; and granddaughter, Brooklyn Skye Ivey.
Survivors are her sons, Gaylon Ivey (Jona), Joe Ivey (Dawn), Franklin Ivey Jr. (Janice), Billy Ivey (Freda), and Linda Warhust (Randy); sister, Imogene Russell; 21 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
