Norma Inez Barr, 85, passed away Thursday, Aug. 31, 2017. Visitation will be Sunday, Sept. 3, 2017, from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Colbert Memorial Chapel with service to follow at 2 p.m. Tim Grigsby will be officiating. Burial will be in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Barr was preceded in death by her parents, Houston and Delphia; husband, Billy Barr; son, Mark Barr; daughter, Donna Sloan; sisters, Ginger Willis and Lois Aderholt; and brother, Jerry Bates.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Behel (Ronnie), of Florence, Alabama; brothers, Peter Bates and Houston “Buddy” Bates; sisters, Patricia Ann Byers and Billie Jo Beard; grandchildren, Kellie (Kirk) Balentine, Jason Behel, Jared (Tiffany) Behel, Lauren Champion, and Michael (Beth) Johnson; and great-grandchildren, Walker and Cooper Balentine, Creed Behel, Vivian and Darby Champion, and Chandler and Grayson Johnson.
