Mr. Jackie Ivey, 54 of Arab, formerly of Florence, died Thursday August 24, 2017 at Crestwood Medical Center in Huntsville.
Mr. Jackie Ivey was born November 1, 1962 in Lauderdale County to Roy Earl Ivey and Kathleen Goodman Ivey. He worked as a truck driver. He enjoyed browsing flea markets and yard sales.
He is survived by a special friend: Jackie F. Hill; his daughters: Tiffany Ivey, Kelly Ivey, Molly Ivey and Carol Hogeland; his sons: Travis Ivey, Jack Ivey, Brian Hill, Branden Hill and Shannon Jennings; a brother: Rickey Ivey; a sister: Margaret Ivey Bates; special mother: Flossie Mae Tyler and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents: Roy Earl and Kathleen Ivey.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday August 28, 2017 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel with Brothers: Gene Brown and Mike Price, officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Church of Christ Cemetery in Florence with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Pallbearers will be Travis Ivey, Brian Hill, Branden Hill, Doug Brown, Shannon Jennings, Arthur Davis and Daniel Osborne.
Visitation will be 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. Monday August 28, 2017 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel prior to the service.
