Rosa Lee Young, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 at the age of 66. Her visitation will be Friday, July 28, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Central. The funeral service will be Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Larry Burbank officiating. She will be buried in Milford Cemetery.
Rosa was a member of the Valley View House of Prayer. She was preceded in death by her infant son, Roderick Shannon Young; mother, Edna Young; and sister, Wanda Roberts.
She is survived by her husband, Rod Young; sons, Zach Young (Amy), Josh Young (Donna), and Heath Irons (Chris); daughters, Lisa Young and Leslie McDonald (Jeremy); brothers, Donnie Chaney, Greg Chaney, and LeRoy Chaney; sisters, Sheila Rideout, Faye Colmer, and Linda Apple; grandchildren, Alison, Cari-anne, Alysa, Emma, Alex, Trey, Cameron, Amie, Amber, Stalin, Sarah, Jonah, Jacob, and Jared; and great-grandchild, Adison.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family would like to thank the staff at ECM and Kindred Home Health and for prayer and support given during Rosa’s illness.
