 Charles R. Riley, age 84, Falkville, died June 29, 2017. He was U.S. Army First Sergeant Retired, Paratrooper, Vietnam veteran, Korean veteran, Master Parachute Badge, United Nations Service Medal, China Service Medal, Korean Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal 1st-4th Award, First Overseas bar, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal with Oak Leaf Cluster, Driver Badge with bar, Marksman Submachine Gun, M-14 Rifle Expert Badge, Joint Service Commendation Medal. Retired JROTC instructor for 20 years at A.P. Brewer High School, was a loving husband and devoted father and grandfather.

Visitation will be Sunday, July 2, 2017 starting at 1 p.m. with A Celebration of Life service to follow beginning at 3 p.m. at Roselawn Funeral Home. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery in Decatur.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations go to Hospice of Cullman County in the name of Charles R. Riley.
