John W. Glover, 84, of the Rose Trail Community passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017. Visitation will be Friday, June 23 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Cherokee. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Phil Oliver and Gean Russell officiating. Burial will be in Douthit Cemetery.
John was a native of Colbert County. He was retired from Reynolds Metal and attended the Methodist Church.
John was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Molly Glover, and his sister, Reba Senter.
He is survived by his wife, Wylodean Glover, sons, Danny Glover and Johnny Glover, stepson, Randy Clark, stepdaughter, Tammy McNeal. He left behind 7 grandchildren and 10 great-children.
Pallbearers are Mike Hellums, Steve Glover, Greg Fulks, Derrick Gargis, Randy Clark, and Steve Senter.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital.
