Thomas Truman Boddie died peacefully on June 22, 2017 at the age of 95. Mr. Boddie is preceded in death by his wife Treva Harwell Boddie and son Harold Wayne Boddie. He is survived by his sons Ralph Warren Boddie (Edna), and Gary Lamar Boddie (Lisa) and 11 grandchildren. Mr. Boddie was born in South Carolina on Oct 26, 1921. After graduating high school he joined the Navy where he was a Chief Petty Officer. Following his discharge from the Navy he attended and graduated from Georgia Tech with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He lived in Harvest, AL and worked for NASA. A Graveside service is scheduled for 3 pm on Saturday June 24, 2017 at Huntsville Memory Gardens.
