George E. Campbell died peacefully in his home on June 9, 2017. He was born Sept. 6, 1939, to the late George D. Campbell and Mattie Bailey in Leighton, Alabama. He retired from New England Art in Abington in 2004 as a printer.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Doris Campbell; three children, Jenise, Joel, and Joanna; his sister, Mary Virginia Barrett; four grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours today at Messiah Baptist Church, 80 Legion Parkway, Brockton, Massachusetts, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by an 11 a.m. celebration of life service. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery on East Street in East Bridgewater.
