Funeral service for Bly O’Neil Maxwell, 95, will be Monday, June 19, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Johnny Maxwell officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, June 18, 2017 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Maxwell died on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at “Tut” Fann State Veterans Home. He was born September 29, 1921, in Morgan County to Rexie Maxwell and Lora Mae Mason Maxwell. He was employed by the Marshall Space Flight Center as a Mechanic and Jr. Engineer prior to his retirement. He was a World War II Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, and three wives: Lorene Griffin Maxwell, Dessie Garrett Douglas Maxwell and Sara Mason Maxwell, a son: Roger O’Neil Maxwell, and four brothers: Delver, J.H.”Jake”, Cohen and Ceigal Maxwell.
