Ruthie Joyce Taylor Hamm, age 78 of Leighton, passed away on Thursday, May 4, 2017. Her visitation will be Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. She will lie-in-state at the Colbert County Cowboy Church until her funeral service at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, 2017. Truman Sutton will officiate with burial in Vandiver Hollow Cemetery.
Ruthie was a member of the Colbert County Cowboy Church. She loved her Lord and family. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Carolyn Joyce English and sister, Myrtle Rowden.
She is survived by her sons; Lewis Hamm, Ricky Hamm, and Danny Hamm; grandchildren, Heath, Tanya, Josh, Heather, Bradley, Brandy, and Blake; special great-grandchild, Dixie Grace and five other great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Heath Clark, Josh Hamm, Blake Hamm, Bobby Williams, Wayne Caruthers, and Hunter Garrett.
