Betty Ruth Powell, age 78, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Murray Ohio, and a Christian.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Tom J. and Mary E. Weeks Woodall; her husband, George Paul Powell; one son, Brent Allen Powell; and two brothers, Harvey Woodall and Charles Woodall.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM Friday, April 28, 2017 at Neal Funeral Home. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens at 3:00 PM Friday, April 28, 2017, with J.D. Bosheers officiating.
