Louise Hood Sessions, age 87 passed away Wednesday, March 29, 2017 in Haleyville, AL. Services will be Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Norwood-Wyatt Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Winston Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Sessions was preceded in death by her husband, James Irvin Hood; son, Melvin Hood; great granddaughter, Lara Abigail Hood; sisters, Ruby Taunton, Leoma Fanning, Verlie Hughlon; brother, Floyd Harris, Frank Kelsey and Paul Kelsey.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda Mann; sons, Charles Hood, Douglas Hood and James Roy Hood; grandchildren, Kenneth Hood, Rodney Hood, Brenda Hood, Anthony Hood, Synthia Hood; great grandchildren, Dylan Johnson, Brenden Johnson and Brandon Hood.
Louise was a loving mother, wife, grandmother, great grandmother, hard-working, God-fearing woman.
