Norma Howell Reese, age 65, a resident of Cayce Lane in Columbia, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2017 just one day shy of her 66th birthday.
A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10AM at Heritage Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Points officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Thursday from 4-8PM at the funeral home. Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
A native of Columbia, Norma was born on March 29, 1951 and was the daughter of the late Willie Clark “Pee Wee” Howell and the late Mae Crain Howell. She was a 1969 graduate of Columbia Central High School. She enjoyed working in her flower garden and spoiling her dogs. Norma had a good sense of humor and loved pulling pranks on people.
She is survived by her sons: Johnny C. Reese of Columbia, Kevin Michael Reese of Columbia; sister: Barbara (J.D.) Phillips of Unionville; brothers: Gary (Debbie) Howell of Lynnville; and grandchild: Harley Dale Goats Reese.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers: William “Juney” Howell and Thomas “Bud” Howell.
