Sigrun H. Duerr, 101, of Huntsville, passed away Wednesday. Sigrun was devoted to her husband and family. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and was active in the Huntsville Friends of the Library and as a Huntsville Hospital Volunteer.
Survivors include sons, Rolf (Pat), Eirik (Ana) and Finn (Sally); six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Eirik and Hildur Hirth; her husband, Friedrich Duerr; and son, Hans Bjorn Duerr.
Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Monday at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, 200 Longwood Drive. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at the church with Pastor Gary Soop officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mark’s Lutheran Church or Huntsville Friends of the Library.
