George Douthit. 75, of Decatur passed away Saturday, Jan. 21, 2017 at his residence. He was born May 3, 1941 to Elvin and Elizabeth Hunter Douthit. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors include his wife, Donna Douthit; three sons, Tim Douthit (Shannon), Greg Douthit (Joyce) and Prentiss Douthit; two sisters, Beth Holt and Judith Cather; one brother, Jim Douthit; and four grandchildren, McKelvy Douthit, Drew Douthit, Sam Douthit and Brit Rushen.
There are no services planned at this time. Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.
