Walter English “Butch” Parker was born June 11, 1949 in Henryville, Tennessee to the late Walter Ansel “Bill” and Lorena Foster Parker. He passed away due to complications from cancer on January 21, 2017 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He was retired from Stauffer Chemical/ Avecia/ Cytec in Mount Pleasant, Tennessee after 30 plus years of service. He was a lover of animals, fishing, art and nature.
Butch was preceded in death by both his parents; brother, Vernon Ray Parker; and sister, Victoria Ophelia Parker Tyler.
He is survived by, Wife of 47 years, Patsy Gail Gardner Parker of Summertown, TN; One Son, James Walter Parker and wife Sandra Baker Parker of Hohenwald, TN; One Daughter, Misty Denise Parker of Summertown, TN; One Granddaughter, Kassandra Jane Baker of Hohenwald, TN; One Brother, James Daniel Parker, Sr. and wife Carolyn of Summertown, TN; One Brother-In-Law, Donald E. Gardner and wife April of Henderson, NV; One Sister-In-Law, Doris Felker-Cole of Columbia, TN; Aunts, Marlys Foster of Summertown, TN, Ruth Foster of Nashville, TN, Arbidene Foster of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Mary Reda Grooms of Lawrenceburg, TN.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Tuesday, January 24, 2017 at Neal Funeral Home. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at Hinestown Cemetery at 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 25, 2017.
