Bessie Stowe, 91, of Florence passed away on January 21, 2017 at Hardin Home in Savannah, Tennessee. She was a member of Lindsey Chapel Baptist Church. She loved working in her garden.
Visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 24, 2017 from 12:00 Noon – 2:00 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel. Officiating will be Mickey Hyde. Burial will follow in the Cloverdale Church of Christ Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland Stowe; parents, George and Mattie Franks; son, Joe Stowe; daughter, Joann Stowe; grandson, Shane Stowe and sister, Annie Putman.
Survivors include her son, Charles Stowe (Marie); grandchildren, Connie Stowe and Charlotte Barrier; great- great-grandchildren, Amy Taylor and Kyle Behel; great-great-great grandchildren, Mollie and Jake Wood, Andie Taylor and Seth Keeton; niece, Martha Hale and a number of great nieces and nephews.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
