The memorial service for Howard Phillips, 73, will be today at 12:30 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness with Robert Kyker officiating. Mr. Phillips died Saturday, Jan. 20, 2017, at Decatur Morgan Hospital. He was born on March 2, 1943, in Georgia to Howard Forrest and Lillian Jaquline Hayes Phillips. Mr. Phillips was a retired minister. Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by his parents and niece, Michelle Phillips Foster.
Survivors include wife, Gladyce Phillips, Hartselle; brothers, Glenn Phillips, Aragon, Georgia, and Stephen Phillips, Rome, Georgia; sister, Grayson, Georgia; nieces, Glorianna Phillips, Rebekah Quintana, and Sarah Tabares; and nephews, Michael L. McNeal Jr. and Charles McNeal.
