Shirley Lou Temples, age 86, formerly of Texarkana and Mt. Pleasant, Texas, passed away peacefully January 18th at Hanceville Nursing Home in Hanceville, Alabama. Shirley’s career was in education as a teacher and principal.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Grant and Ruth Baldwin; her sister, Betty Cerar; and son, John Pat Temples III.
She is survived by her children, LuAnne Temples, of Cullman, and David Grant Temples (Rebecca), of Miramar Beach, Florida; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Temples, Jackson, Mississippi; granddaughters, Mary-Baldwin Albriton (John) and Claire Burkes (Andrew), of Oxford, Mississippi; and great-grandchildren, Jack and Hattie Albriton; brother, Mike Baldwin (Sherry); and the father of her children, John Pat Temples Jr .
