Betty Jean Williamson, age 87 of Huntsville passed away on Mon., Dec. 26, 2016.
Mrs. Williamson is survived by one daughter; Peggy W. Palmer, one son; Larry Cline Williamson, two sisters; Louise Ellen Robinson and Grace Hill, two brothers; Dawson Ray Moorer and Billy Rex Moorer, four grandchildren; Patricia Leigh Kahle, Melissa Diane Williamson, Blake Allen Davenport and Brooke Alyse McGee and nine great-grandchildren.
Mrs Williamson was a native of Montgomery, AL, and was raised in Ft. Deposit AL. Most of her adult life she lived in Ft. Walton Beach, FL, having retired from Oklaoosa County School System. She was the oldest of 10 children and an avid Florida Gators and Atlanta Braves fan. She was also a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. A person of strong faith with an everpresent smile and to know her was to love her.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations should be made to St. Jude’s Childrens Hospital of Memphis, TN.
