Karla Kohl, age 61 of Athens, AL passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Ms. Kohl was born in Cedar Rapids Iowa on March 20, 1955 to Gordon and Alta Glime Kohl.
Ms. Kohl was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her sisters, Danielle Cagle and husband Jeff , Sue Edwards and husband Scott; brothers, Gordon Kohl and wife Susan, Randell Kohl, Scott Hill and wife Christine, and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service for Ms. Kohl at Old Bethel Cemetery in Lawrence County on Friday, December 23, 2016 at 1:00 PM. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 22, 2016 from 6:00-9:00 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.
