Dora Elizabeth “Betty” Lindsey Winter, 90, of Florence, passed away Dec. 10, 2016. Visitation was Monday, Dec. 12th at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral will be today, Dec. 13th at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Jeff Wade officiating. Burial will be in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Winter; and brothers, Robert M. Lindsey and Louie W. Lindsey.
She leaves behind her children, Steve Winter and wife, Pam and Ann Gregory and husband, Ronald Smith; grandchildren, Elizabeth Norton and husband, Nick, John Whiteside and wife, Liane and Kendra Winter; great-grandchildren, Lilly, Khloe and Emily Norton, Noah and Rhyley Cooper, and Addison Whiteside; and her little dog, Lucy.
Pallbearers will be Donnie Winter, Ronnie Clanton, Chris Brewer, Jason Brewer, Nick Norton, Joe Rhodes, Johnny Balentine and Tommy Lindsey.
The family would like to thank the hospice team, especially Dawn, Brandy and Teresa, for their loving care.
