JT Hall, age 90, passed away Monday, Dec. 5, 2016. Visitation will be Sunday, Dec. 11, from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 3 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Chris Joiner officiating. Burial will be at Barkley Cemetery. He was a member of the Happy Valley Baptist Church. He retired from TVA and was a World War II veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Laura Dison Campbell Hall; daughter, Janice Campbell Newton Whitt; and sisters, Izora Quillen and Lela Hall.
Survivors are his daughter, Bonnie Campbell Draper; nephews, Rickey Collum and Randy Green; grandchildren, Scotty Newton, Lisa Beaver, and Michelle Draper; great-grandchildren, Lara Grisham, Mycal Newton, and Brandon Newton; and great-great-grandchildren, Paisley Newton and Mason Grisham. Pallbearers will be Scotty Newton, Mycal Newton, Brandon Newton, Miles Grisham, Randy Green, and Danny Hanback. Honorary pallbearers will be Cecil Whitt and RW Hanback.
