James Arden Sharit, Sr. age 75 of Sumiton, passed away Sunday November 20, 2016 at his residence.
He was retired from U.S. Steel, and he loved to fish.
Mr. Sharit is survived by his wife Dina Sharit; his children, Belinda Sharit, Karen Rice (Kenith), James A. Sharit, Jr., Mike Aiken (Amy), Racky Aiken (Ann) and Leah Wadsworth (Royce); 11 grandchildren and 8 freat grandchildren; his brothers, Luckie, Roger and Vernon Sharit; several extended family members and many friends.
Mr. Sharit will be cremated.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later time.
