lucile-fregeau-1479571847Lucile Claire Fregeau, 87 of Arab Alabama died Saturday, November 19, 2016 at her residence.
Mrs. Fregeau was born June 24, 1929 in Arnold Pa. to Anthony Jordan and Sarah Marie Siciliana Jordan. She faithfully served her Lord and He directed her path in many directions including Virginia, Rhode Island, Ecuador, South America, Oklahoma, Minnesota and most recently Alabama. Mrs. Fregeau served her family and community in each place God planted her by teaching school, Girl Scouts, working in her Church and doing mission work. She was instrumental in starting a ministry among Hispanics in Morgan County, Al. She enjoyed many artistic and creative expressions; her greatest artistic passion was painting as evidenced by the dozens of paintings she produced. Mrs. Fregeau was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and encourager to her sons-in-law; she was a faithful servant of God and dedicated follower of Jesus Christ, bringing glory to her Savior and receiving everlasting joy.
Mrs. Fregeau was a member of Brindlee Mountain Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years: Richard W. Fregeau; her son: Michael Fregeau; her daughters and sons-in-law: Linda A. and Dale McIntire and Sally J. and David Michael; grandchildren: Amy Steward, Kristina Michael, Aaron Fregeau and Emily Fregeau and great grandchildren: Anna, Katherine and Joshua Steward.
Graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday November 21, 2016 at Union Grove Cemetery, Morgan City with Rev. Dale C. McIntire, officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations to charities recognized by Brindlee Mountain Baptist Church.
