Hildred Funderburk, 81, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2016, at her home. She was born March 12, 1935 to the late Comer Young and the late Opal Pearson Young in Itawamba County. She retired from Fairview School after 27 years of service. She enjoyed working find a word books, flowers, working in her yard, and spending time with family and friends.
Services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday October 29, 2016 at Senter Funeral Home with Bro. Gene O’Brian, and Bro. Harold Ozbirn officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Senter Funeral Home.

She is survived by her husband, Ralph Funderburk, 3 sisters in law, Faye Young of Fairview, Gola Williams of Red Bay, AL, Hildred Benton of TX, host of nieces and nephews, caregivers, Jason (Kim) Gassaway of Fairview.
She was preceded in death by 2 infant twin sons, Kerry and Terry Funderburk, her parents, brother, F.M. Young, sister in law, Dare Shotts, 4 brother in laws, Junior Williams, Kenneth Shotts, Delmer Jamerson, David Benton, father in law, Clyce Funderburk, mother in law, Ollie Funderburk.
Pallbearers will be Bill Sheffield, O’Neal Funderburk, Eric Williams, Harold Rogers, Ryan Bostick, Wesley O’Brian, Toby Williams, Stevie Jones, Tyler Young.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Gassaway and Micah Funderburk.
