FLORENCE-Get ready for Halloween with Thrive Alabama’s second annual Boos and Brews event October 27 at Singin’ River Brewing Company. The fun starts at 6 pm and features special cemetery ghost tour, a costume contest, music, and food. Tickets can be purchased for $10 at the door or in advance at www.thrivealabama.org.
Cemetery Ghost Walk:
Eight ghosts come out to share stories of some of the past’s unique citizens now at rest in Florence Cemetery. There will be two guided tours leaving from Singin’ River at 6:30 and 7:45.
Come dressed in your best costume and bring your friends for an evening of music, food, and fun to celebrate a great cause at Thrive Alabama’s Boos and Brews Costume Party. Enjoy the great beer and cider offered at Florence’s Singin’ River Brewing Company and dance the night away! The evening will conclude in a costume contest with prizes for first, second, and third place.
