Funeral services for Mr. Phillip McCollum, age 60, are scheduled for 4 PM, Saturday, October 22, 2016 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Cemetery. Mr. McCollum passed away late Wednesday in Jackson. He was born April 25, 1956 in Henderson County to the late James Ray and Betty Sue Williams McCollum. He was preceded in death by his precious granddaughter, Brylee Grace Holmes; one daughter, Chrissy Livingston; and one brother, Jimmy McCollum. Survivors include his beloved wife of 36 years and best friend, Velva Jane McCollum; his sons and best friend, Wayne Faulkner (Tonya) and Jonathan Faulkner (Michelle); his daughters Janie Faulkner, Tonia McCollum, Felicia Crowe, Stacey McCollum Holmes (Joseph), and Teressa Phillips (Perry); three brothers, Ricky, Randy and Timmy McCollum; four sisters, Dianne Hatchett, Debra Todd, Pam Wood, and Tina Pulley; twenty grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
