Martha Kelly King, age 86, died Friday, Oct. 14, 2016. Her family will receive friends Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016, 1:30-3:30 p.m., at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel with Ben Hayes officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Sheffield.
Mrs. King was a member of the Baptist church and was preceded in death by her husband, Oliver Clifton Kelly; daughter, Sue Kelly Young; and four brothers.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Kelly Parker (Carl); brother, Kenneth Hamm; sisters, Dorothy McCaig and Ruby Austin; four grandchildren, Denise Herring (Jeff), Jackie Baker (Jeff), Clifton Parker (Mollie), and Bennett Parker (Kay); great-grandchildren, Zachary Young, Will Young, Eli Parker, Claire Parker, Jacob Parker, Norah Parker, Finn Parker, Hunter Aldridge, and Sam Herring; and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family expresses special thanks to Keller Hospice, especially, Ann Massey, Melinda Smith, and caregivers, Eloise Hamm, Pricilla Tucker, and sweet Cara.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
